Violeta
Multi-Style Yoga Teacher – Intuitive & Awakening
- Background & Journey: Violeta’s journey began in 2006 with an old “Yoga for Dummies” VCR tape found on her mother-in-law’s shelf. After the birth of her first child, she discovered the “airplane-mask truth”: you can only save someone if you first save yourself. This insight turned a simple twenty-minute ritual into a lifelong devotion, carrying her from Lithuania to the magical landscapes of Maui, her home for nearly half her life.
- Training & Lineage: Calling herself a “yoga junky,” she has practiced nearly every style she could step into—Ashtanga, Kundalini, Jivamukti, Hot Yoga, Hatha, Yin, and Bikram—each widening her understanding of body, mind, and spirit. Her practice deepened through training in Anusara (Grace Yoga), silent meditation journeys like Vipassana, and healing plant-medicine ceremonies.
- Class Focus: Over time, these influences have fused into a teaching style that is rooted, intuitive, and awakening. Her classes carry the island’s warmth and spaciousness, reminding students that everything—breath, motherhood, healing, transformation—begins within.
Philosophy: At the heart of her teaching is the principle: “Move through life with a beginner’s mind.” She believes growth happens only when we remain open to receive—when vulnerability softens us and curiosity leads us. She invites students to meet themselves with honesty, softness, and courage.

Testimonials
I’ve been following Laura on social media for a while for her valuable prenatal and neonatal tips, as well as her work as a naturopath, and I finally decided to try one of her yoga classes. I loved it! She adapted each pose to all levels and took great care of every student with such kindness. The atmosphere was super relaxed, and the class really did me good, both for body and mind. Bonus points for the delicious coconut matcha and the super warm welcome at the bar! I’ll definitely be back for Laura, but also for the matcha 🙂
